About The Love Shack

The Love Shack is a design showroom, photographic location, small event space, and live-in show home in New York City.

An experiment in the possibilities of loft living, surreality and commercial space, Alexander Love designed and built two life-size dollhouses in an ex-industrial building in Bushwick, Brooklyn.

Almost every piece of furniture or lighting you see is an original design or restored and modified from it’s original form. Some pieces are available for sale, for example our unique lighting designs and The Library Chair.  

The Love Shack is available to hire for photo shoots, small corporate events, cocktail parties, weddings and other intimate gatherings, as a performance space or for screenings. Please contact us for more details as rates and capacity will vary depending on your event.
